Meet Sheida Ferdowsi

Why I’m at BPCP: The opportunity to work with the children and watch them grow and become individuals through our developmental curriculum, though for a short time in their lives, is the reason BPCP is the place I want to return to year after year.
Career at BPCP: During my time at BPCP, I have worked mainly with the four year old age group to prepare them for a smooth and timely transition to Kindergarten. My experience includes working with three and five year olds as well as coordinating a Transitional Kindergarten and STEM program for the Pre-K enrichment class. At BPCP, I have been fortunate to work closely with parents in our Parent Education program. I have run community workshops and worked privately with parents to address their child's specific needs. We have been successful in implementing individual plans for strategies to use at home for positive parenting.
Education: I have my Bachelor’s Degree from UCLA in Linguistics and French. I received my Early Childhood and Parent Education Certificates from UCLA.
